![]() ![]() "Small", "minimal", etc are terms often used for PEI code because of hardware resource constraints that limit the programming environment. The green LEDs stay on for that long after AC line was removed even when pressing power button on machine.Īs per the leds 3 leds red and on green it means Pre-EFI Initialization (PEI) Core, 0圎1h ,Completed dispatching an PEIM The pre-EFI initialization (PEI) phase of execution has two primary roles in a platforms life: determine the source of the restart and provide a minimum amount of permanent memory for the ensuing DXE phase. I also noticed that when I removed the AC line again the board takes about 20s to loose all power. There are green LED that is on but when pushing the power button nothing happens. I moved the J1G3 jumper to 2-3 and waited 15s before plugging in the AC line and powering on but when the jumper is in that position the board does not want to power on at all. I figured you were talking about the J1G3 jumper which is to reset the CMOS when powered on. I have followed the steps that you have listed here but something is wrong.
